For the 16th consecutive year, high school students competing in Academic WorldQuest will play alongside community groups competing in WorldQuest, the community version of this global knowledge “trivia” event. Recognized as the largest global trivia competition and international education program in North Carolina, teams from all around the greater Charlotte area will participate in this international knowledge competition, answering questions related to current events, history, geography, and other topics of global significance.

WorldQuest is a key education fundraiser for the World Affairs Council of Charlotte, supporting essential Council education initiatives. Funds raised help provide resources for students, educators, and the community to navigate a complex global landscape. By fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and cross-cultural understanding, WorldQuest nurtures future global leaders. The event also brings together diverse community members, promoting engagement with international issues. Ultimately, WorldQuest supports the Council’s mission to educate, engage, and empower the community on global matters.
