Join The Magellan Society (The Young Professionals of the World Affairs Council of Charlotte) as we volunteer and learn more about our international communities in the city! The UNC Charlotte International Festival hosts more than 50 countries, with presentations throughout the day that include dancing, music, games, storytelling, and culminate in the Parade of Nations.
We will meet up at the registration desk before our volunteer shift at the Parade of Nations. This indoor parade will showcase different cultural dress and traditions – check out the photos from last year here!
This will be an excellent opportunity to get to know like-minded young professionals, while also getting to try delicious international foods and discover cultures around the world. We hope you will be able to join us!
