Use Your Difference to Make a Difference: How to Connect and Communicate in a Cross-Cultural World
Join the Young Professionals of WACC and UNC Charlotte’s Office of International Programs on November 19th for a conversation with Tayo Rockson, author and expert on diversity, equity, and inclusion. This program will be part of this year’s International Education Week, and you can learn more about this celebration and the full schedule of events here!
As the son of a diplomat and originally from Nigeria, Tayo grew up as a “third culture kid” in five countries before beginning college. As a four-time TEDx speaker, Tayo’s new book, Use Your Difference to Make a Difference: How to Connect and Communicate in a Cross-Cultural World, was published in 2019 and inspires us to explore culture, masculinity, diversity and inclusion – and create action around it.
Learn more about Tayo here and read his full biography here.
Members and non-members of any age are welcome for this free program!
