Women and Wealth — 2025 International Women’s Day

Imagine a world where gender equality is the norm—free from bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive, where women’s contributions are valued, their achievements celebrated, and their financial independence prioritized.

But achieving true gender parity requires more than just recognition—it demands action. For #IWD2025, let’s all #AccelerateAction to break down barriers, close the wealth gap, and create pathways for women’s economic empowerment.

For over a century, International Women’s Day (IWD) has driven progress, yet women still face systemic financial and economic inequalities. From pay gaps and investment disparities to limited access to capital and leadership roles, the road to true equity remains a challenge.

  • How can we change this?
Celebrate women’s financial and professional achievements
Raise awareness about the wealth gap and economic discrimination
Take action by advocating for policies, education, and opportunities that empower women financially

Join the World Affairs Council of Charlotte and Bank of America on March 12, 2025, for a powerful discussion on “Women and Wealth.” Our keynote speaker, Naima Judge, Managing Director and Market Investment Executive with the Bank of America Private Bank (Atlanta, GA), will explore the distinction between equality and equity and share how they are actively working to accelerate financial empowerment for women—in the workplace, in leadership, and their personal lives.
