Covid-19 and the China Challenge: Could the U.S. and China be “Rivalry Partners”?
Join us for a WACC Speaker Series virtual presentation with Graham Allison, Professor of Government at Harvard University, former Assistant Secretary of Defense under President Clinton, and Special Advisor to the Secretary of Defense under President Reagan on Thursday, May 21 as he shares his research on China’s response to COVID-19 and its role in this new global order through diplomacy and aid to countries affected by the coronavirus.
In addition, Allison will also offer insight into the current state of China’s relationship with the United States which remains tumultuous due to mistrust between both countries, allegations of hacking and government interference, and ongoing tit-for-tat because of the lack of transparency by the Chinese government over the spread of the coronavirus in the country.
