What’s WorldQuest?
It’s a trivia night with a global knowledge spin hosted by the World Affairs Council of Charlotte. More importantly, WorldQuest serves as a fundraiser for our teacher and student education initiatives.
The majority of funds will support these upcoming programs: Academic WorldQuest, Council Scholar Award Program, Global Student Leadership Program, Young Explorers Essay Competition, Euro Challenge, and more.
What’s the registration fee?
$100 for a team of up to 5 people and $20 for individual participants. The registration fee is tax-deductible.
How many questions will you have per category?
6 questions per category.
Can we play together?
Yes, you can social-distance together in your backyard or in your home (remember your masks and hand sanitizers) or set-up separate video links to brainstorm the answers from the comfort of your own homes.
Show us your team spirit and we’ll all have a fun evening!
What about technology?
Each team will have a breakout room in Zoom to finalize their answers at the end of each category.
Don’t worry! We’ll run a short training session before the start of the program so that all of you are comfortable using the technology. We are going to do things a little different this year, and hope to use Google Forms for answer sheets. Stay tuned!
Join us for a fun evening of engagement, trivia, and socialization where you’ll compete for bragging rights, global smarts, and some really cool prizes.
