Join the World Affairs Council of Charlotte on September 5th as we host esteemed U.S. diplomat, Ambassador Ryan Crocker. Crocker has served 6-terms as a U.S. Ambassador during some of the most tumultuous times in U.S. history with the Middle East. President Obama called him out of retirement in 2011 to serve as Ambassador to Afghanistan, and President George W. Bush awarded him with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Nov. 8: Joint WorldQuest / Academic WorldQuest 2017

The World Affairs Council of Charlotte will host WorldQuest together with Academic WorldQuest, our high school version of WQ, for the 8th time since 2010. WorldQuest was created by the WACC and has grown into a nationwide international knowledge competition played by councils around the country. The thrill of competition and enthusiasm for world affairs has made this program one of our most successful education initiatives in the greater Charlotte area.
