China is on a mission to recreate a modern-day equivalent of the ancient Silk Road with its Belt & Road Initiative (BRI). As planned, it will be the largest infrastructure project the world has ever seen, and will create a land and maritime trade-based network across the Eurasian landscape from East Asia to Western Europe and south to Africa. Our discussion will center on the scope of this massive initiative and its economic and political impact.
Join us on April 12th for dinner and a “fireside chat” to discuss the impact of this modernized Silk Road on U.S. trade and relations with China.
