Make a Gift to the World Affairs Council of Charlotte’s 2024 Year-End Appeal Campaign Today

Dear Members, Supporters, and Friends,

As we wrap up another remarkable year at the World Affairs Council of Charlotte, I want to extend my deepest gratitude for your unwavering support and commitment to our mission.

2024 has been a year of engaging programs, impactful initiatives, and meaningful dialogues on pressing global issues. Thanks to your generosity, we’ve made significant strides in fostering global understanding, inspiring informed leadership, and connecting Charlotteans to the world. This year, we expanded our educational programs, reaching 297 students and 46 educators, hosted 60 distinguished speakers, and strengthened our international partnerships. These achievements would not have been possible without your support.

As we look ahead to 2025, we need your continued support to sustain and grow our impact. Your tax-deductible donation will help us:

  • Inspire the next generation through our Global Student Leadership Program and “Speaker in the Classroom” initiatives.
  • Empower educators with professional development opportunities, including our $3,500 Council Scholar Award.
  • Offer a platform for global conversations through our Speaker Series programs and events.
  • Equip leaders with the skills to navigate an increasingly interconnected world.

Your contribution, no matter the amount, will make a world of difference. As we reflect on 2024, we also look forward to the opportunities and challenges ahead. Education on world affairs among our students, teachers, and community is vital in keeping our economy growing and competitive and helping shape our collective future. Your support is essential in making that happen! Thank you for being an integral part of our community.
