The Global Students Leadership Program at the World Affairs Council of Charlotte (WACC) allows middle and high school students to engage with experts and explore critical global issues shaping our community and world. These experiences inspire the next generation of leaders by fostering international awareness and collaboration in our classrooms.
Your recurring donation of just $20 a month can make a significant impact. If 100 WACC members and supporters contributed $20 each month, we could provide up to 40 students with access to Council programs per month.

These students would be able to attend luncheons with foreign policy experts, government officials, and global thought leaders, expanding their understanding of today’s interconnected world while developing critical skills for career readiness. Engaging directly with professionals in these fields helps students gain insights into global careers, build networks, and inspire their aspirations for future leadership.
We aim to host 500 students in 2024 through the Global Students Leadership Program, requiring a total investment of $25,000. Your ongoing support will help us reach that goal while ensuring our programs remain inclusive and accessible to students from all backgrounds.
