Speaker-In-The-Classroom
The WACC’s Speaker in the Classroom program is designed to provide high school (grades 9-12) and college students with a distinctive chance to engage with local and international experts in the field of world affairs, all without leaving their school or college campus.
Our experts come from a variety of backgrounds and professions, including diplomats, foreign dignitaries, authors, college professors, political leaders, and business executives, among others.
They participate in in-person or virtual roundtables on-campus, providing students with the opportunity to interact with them directly, ask questions, and gain valuable insights into global issues such as international diplomacy, economics, human rights, and environmental sustainability.
In addition to learning about pressing global issues, we believe that students should also have the chance to explore different career paths and gain knowledge that can broaden their horizons and open up new opportunities. Our roundtables offer a dynamic and engaging learning experience that can inspire students to pursue their passions and make a positive impact on the world. Whether in-person or virtual, our programs aim to provide students with the tools and resources they need to become active and engaged global citizens.
